Different Natures is an immersive installation where the aesthetics delineated toward femininity - femininity meaning a state of being not exclusive to one sex or another - may be explored and witnessed by an audience. Its premise is conceptually based on confronting the virgin/whore binary, but to also consider this relationship through the lens of allure and abjection. The room is set to resemble a French boudoir - a space that is set aside as private for women and out of sight to the male gaze.
