The Mourning Garden is a series of piped paintings constructed from layered acrylic mediums. Drawing on the visual language of gardens, the works explore mourning as both a site of loss and a space for transformation. Through their sculpturaly formed surfaces, the paintings consider how grief can take root, bloom, and continually reshape itself.
